The Groom Club

These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern your membership of The Groom Club, operated by Whisker & Coat Ltd. By subscribing to any membership tier you agree to be bound by this Agreement in its entirety.
The Groom Club offers four membership tiers: Silk (complimentary), Cashmere, Velvet, and Sovereign. Membership is available to individuals aged 18 or over who are the legal owner or primary carer of one or more domestic cats. By subscribing, you confirm that all information provided during registration is accurate and complete.
Paid memberships (Cashmere, Velvet, Sovereign) are billed on a recurring basis according to the billing period selected at sign-up: monthly, every six months, or annually. All prices are displayed in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment is collected automatically via Stripe on the anniversary of your start date. You authorise Whisker & Coat to charge the payment method on file for all recurring fees.
Six-month and twelve-month plans constitute fixed-term contracts. At the end of each fixed term, your membership will automatically renew for an equivalent period unless cancelled at least 14 days before the renewal date. Monthly memberships renew on a rolling basis and may be cancelled at any time with 14 days' notice.
You may cancel your membership by contacting us at whiskerandcoat@gmail.com or through your member portal. Cancellations of fixed-term contracts before the end of the committed period will incur an early termination fee equal to 50% of the remaining balance. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. The complimentary Silk tier may be closed at any time without penalty.
Certain tiers include monthly grooming credits. Credits are allocated on the first day of each billing month and expire at the end of that calendar month, unused credits do not roll over. Credits hold no cash value and are non-transferable between members. Whisker & Coat reserves the right to adjust credit allocations with 30 days' written notice.
Members on Cashmere, Velvet, and Sovereign tiers benefit from priority booking windows. Priority status does not guarantee availability on a specific date. All appointments remain subject to groomer availability and scheduling. Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment may result in the deduction of one grooming credit.
Members may earn rewards by referring new paying members using their unique referral link. The referring member receives one bonus grooming credit once the referred individual completes their first paid month. Self-referrals or fraudulent referrals will result in forfeiture of rewards and may lead to membership termination.
Members on eligible tiers receive a complimentary bespoke grooming kit after their third completed grooming visit. Kits are dispatched to the address on file within 14 business days. One kit per membership. Replacement kits are available at cost price.
Whisker & Coat takes every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your cat during grooming sessions. However, we shall not be liable for any pre-existing conditions, allergic reactions to standard grooming products, or behavioural incidents beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability under this agreement shall not exceed the total membership fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of The Groom Club after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
